Morning Forensic Science Afternoon Cool Chemistry --- STEM for Kids will set up a mock crime scene for our campers to collaborate and solve. They will process the crime scene and do the forensics to gather evidence through finger printing, hair analysis, blood sampling, chromatography and much more! They will interview suspects, make a suspect board, and work together to bring their suspect to the state’s attorney for prosecution. Our youngest campers will have a simpler crime to solve with age-appropriate forensics – finger printing, chromatography, footprint analysis, substance identification, etc. The afternoon will explore many fun chemistry experiments from making snow, edible chemistry, elephant toothpaste, and much more! They will learn a bit about the periodic table and just how scientist use it to predict interactions. We will even “play” with the periodic table in the world of Minecraft Education!
