Summer Camp: Biomedical Engineering - Human Body: Structure, Strength & Steel

Grades: K - 5
Schedule: 6/15/2020 to 6/19/2020
(Monday To Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Before and After care is included - 8:00 AM to 6:00PM)
Biomedical engineering, a new emerging field of engineering, deals with the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes. Closing the gap between engineering and life sciences, this is an exciting intersection of two classic industries: health and mechanical engineering. In this program, participants will explore the muscular system of the human body. While learning about muscle function and muscle types, participants will build a model arm utilizing the Engineering Design Process. stemforkids.net/…
